Ft. Hood Victims Benefit
Join Hands with Mile High Karate of Allen this Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 6:15 PM to 8:15 PM- to aid the families of the Ft. Hood shooting victims as Mile High Karate will donate ALL PROFITS. “We do expect to be very busy, so certificates good for a future class will be sold as well, and go toward the donation fund,” says Mark McGee, the owner of Mile High Karate of Allen.
Being heavily connected with the military and the Army, this is a tragedy that has hit home. McGee states that his brother “will serving his fourth tour in the Middle East beginning December 26th. And with heavy hearts, our thoughts and prayers are with the families and for those lost and injured. We hope to that you will join us for this event that will benefit the families of the Ft. Hood shooting victims.”
Mile High Karate’s in-store donation campaign is scheduled to run at least until Dec. 7 and possibly longer, according to McGee.
